Special Interest Groups

Self-organised communities of members focusing on specific areas or topics within the field of plurilingualism and foreign language education. Currently, we have three Special Interest Groups:

Tree & Book

SIG
Research Methodology and Ethics

We are a group of researchers from diverse backgrounds, united by our shared interest in education, multilingualism/plurilingualism, and research ethics

SIG
Language Policy

We investigate the field of “Language Policy” through the prism of multi- and plurilingualism, i.g. how multi- and plurilingualism shapes language policies in different social and educational contexts and how it is itself shaped by language policies.

SIG
Language Teacher Development

We are dedicated to exploring the development, attitudes, role and techniques of teachers engaging with plurilingualism and/or incorporating plurilingual pedagogies into (language) education.
