Who we are

ENROPE

ENROPE is an international network that aims to provide high quality training and collaborative structures for early career researchers in the field of language education and plurilingualism. The network was developed through an Erasmus+ project, created and inspired by members of the related research group Langscape

ENROPE works at the intersection of language education research, language teaching and professional development to develop more plurilingual mindsets and practices. As part of its vision to promote strong and reflective professional identities, ENROPE offers a range of activities and collaborative infrastructures, such as winter/spring schools, online colloquia, special interest groups and symposia.

ENROPE is currently coordinated by members of the English Language Teaching Department at the Humboldt University in Berlin and is kept alive creatively by flexible working groups.

Our Vision

Our vision is to equip early career researchers and practitioners in the field of foreign language education with plurilingual mindsets and reflective identities. Our mission is to actively pursue our vision by creating an inspiring and welcoming infrastructure for high-level collaborative research and professional development. We invite our network members to bring their own ideas to the activities and events that we offer and to enrich our project with new initiatives.
